Job Description – Junior Producer (Nonfiction Content)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Producer who is passionate about nonfiction entertainment content and has a strong understanding of storytelling, research, and audience engagement. The role involves script reviewing, fact-checking, content operations, performance analysis, and coordination with creative teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Review scripts for quality, accuracy, engagement, and storytelling.
• Fact-check information, data, and references used in scripts.
• Research and suggest new nonfiction content ideas and trending topics.
• Work on categories like:
True Crime
Biographies
Spirituality
History
Self-help
Social & Current Affairs
Documentary-style content
• Coordinate backend operations for making shows live on the app.
• Work closely with the thumbnail/design team to create engaging thumbnails.
• Monitor show performance metrics such as retention, CTR, listens/views, etc.
• Analyze audience behavior and suggest improvements in live shows.
• Coordinate with writers, editors, and creative teams for smooth execution.
Requirements
Strong interest and understanding of nonfiction content.
Good research and fact-checking skills.
Strong storytelling sense and attention to detail.
Ability to identify engaging and trending content topics.
Basic understanding of content performance and audience engagement.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Passion for digital entertainment and storytelling platforms.
Preferred
0–2 years of experience in content, media, production, or research roles.
Freshers with strong nonfiction content knowledge can also apply.
Familiarity with YouTube/OTT/audio/video content platforms is a plus.
